Patient data security is a priority. Concerto can be installed on secure Amazon Machine Images or cloud-based servers that use the advanced security protocols expected by governmental bodies and industry. Concerto can also be downloaded locally to a computer or server on your site, allowing security protocols to be dictated by your trust or institution.

Concerto has been successfully deployed in several clinical trials in the UK and is extensively used by the Australian Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards (BOSTES) to administer educational assessments for school leavers on a large scale.

Secure, flexible platform for patient-reported outcome measurement

Assessing patient outcomes and experience is the cornerstone of patient-centred clinical research and care. Patient reported outcome and experience measures (PROMs/PREMs) are powerful tools to objectively assess the things that matter the most to patients. Modern tests using computer adaptive testing can be shorter and more precise than paper-based tests1 and provide instant scores and tailored feedback.

Concerto brings the power of computer adaptive testing to health applications with unprecedented flexibility and stability, delivering a scalable device-agnostic solution for cutting-edge measurement2.

Real-time feedback reports for patients and clinicians

Simply measuring patient outcomes is not enough to improve care. Peer-reviewed research has shown that the best outcomes are achieved by PROMs which have structured and integrated feedback systems3. Concerto brings PROM metrics to life, with beautiful visualisations and individually tailored feedback that can inform specific clinical action.

Big Data and Electronic Health Records integration

Health informatics are transforming academic research and clinical practice. Big Data analytics and digital footprint analysis hold the key to previously unforeseen relationships between key clinical variables; signposting new routes to intervention and service improvement4. Adding psychological information derived from PROMs to social media records, wearables, unstructured text and other new forms of data opens the door to unique behavioural insights at the individual, trial and population level. Concerto offers a scalable solution to link a wide array of PROMS and PREMS with Electronic Health Record systems. These features enable the patient’s voice to be heard, quantified and respected in the future of healthcare informatics.
